There is no one personal style when it comes to interior design concepts. However, there are some general guidelines that most people follow when designing a room. These concepts include using colors that appeal to your senses, whether that is cool or warm. Light in the room plays a huge factor when selecting colors, dark room and dark colors can be dramatic but also can make a room feel smaller. Use of soft furniture, textiles and using unique accessories add to the overall feel. Some people prefer a more masculine look, while others prefer a more feminine look.
